As our Electronics Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of high‑power microwave counter‑robotics systems. Your mission is to architect, design, and validate cutting-edge mixed-signal electronics that push the boundaries of what is possible in rapid prototyping and advanced defense technology.

You will transform ideas from concept to functional prototype at high speed, working hands-on across multiple engineering disciplines. Your profile

We are looking for an Electronics Design Engineer to join our fast-paced prototyping and development team. You will be defining, designing and implementing the mixed-signal and power electronics for our high-power microwave counter-robotics systems.

Responsibilities

• Schematic capture and layout of mixed-signal and power electronics PCBs;
• Perform trades and analyses of board architecture and component selection;
• Bringup and testing of new designs;
• Coordinate with RF and embedded systems engineers for effectively bridging analog and digital domains;
• Working with mechanical engineers to ensure proper thermal handling;
• Work with supply chain counterparts to enable rapid manufacture and iteration of component.
  

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience developing analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded; hardware using EDA tools, such as Altium Designer or equivalent;
• Excellent understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals;
• Experience debugging SoCs across the bootup stack;
• Experience developing high-speed digital interfaces;
• Experience designing power trees with complex sequencing requirements;
• Deep understanding with configuration and interfacing of memories, volatile and nonvolatile;
• Experience selecting and monitoring components;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to make sure respective top-level systems decisionsremain aligned throughout development;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Future eligibility for NATO security clearance.

Desirements

• Some experience with other engineering fields (embedded, RF, mechanical);
• Portfolio of designs that you have worked on;
• Familiarity with RF concepts such as matching, reflections, radiation and coupling;
• Design and measurements of RF structures and PCBs;
• Aerospace/Defence domain experience.
